375ml capped bottle served in a tulip. No date that I can see. Bought it at the brewery two days ago.
Pours a black color, slightly reddish-brown translucent with a light behind it. Pours with a big head that collapses to a few millimeter thick pile of bubbles. Smell is toasted grains, maybe a little anise, maybe some wood. Some yeastiness.
Taste is some roast, some anise, more of the wood, moderate sour beer flavor, fairly mild overall.
Mouthfeel is thin, watery, a little bit of a tannic dryness. Overall. It's not bad.
