Had it fromtap into a small snifter. Clear brownish red color with a decent head and lacing. Smell of caramel and apples. A bit of sour apple and vinegar. A bit hin. Not bad but not a repeater.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter via a friend from work---Cheers Randy!
This most excellent ESB pours a bright red tinged amber color with a
nice English style big bubbled head of off white foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin wispy pool, and shows some nice light lacing. Nose of
light toffee and nicely toasted malts with a hint of orchard fruit and subtle
light hop notes. Flavors hit the right note for the style with light toffee and caramel
malts lightly touched with herbal hops and a touch of peaches. Very nice
mouth feel with medium light body, moderately light carbonation, and a
smooth lightly sweet finish.
Overall, a perfect ale for the style that makes me think it came straight
from England.
Cheers

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a semi cleared amber with a small white head. The aroma is malt and mild piney hops. a very nice beer.
