I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had faint spice notes and floral highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink clove spice presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a solid beer.

A: A deep orange that burns a bright reddish color in the light, this one grows a fat pure white head that sits at over a finger and leaves thick patching pretty copiously behind.
S: The orange zest is clear on the nose, working in conjunction with a dry and lightly spicy note. The anise makes for an interesting note but doesn't show strongly in the nose.
T: The anise is light but noticeable, and it somehow works. Perhaps a bit more strength do it would be detrimental, but here it adds a little complexity to the dryness and spiciness of the yeast, the almost crackery note, and the citrus.
F: Medium-bodied, crisp, and with plenty of depth in the body. The only thing I would say about the feel is that, though not heavy, perhaps lighten it a touch for the style. The finish is dry, bright, and stays crisp.
