Copenhagen 8/12 2019. 44 cl can from Køl Beer Web-shop. Very colorful and psychedelic can which together with the name of the beer could make me think that I am about to indulge in something stronger than beer.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a big, frothy white head. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light odor of exotic fruits and a stronger one of citrus fruit. Peach and pineapple. Grape fruit and citrus. A light odor of alcohol.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is intensive. Medium sweetness followed by a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light boozy burn. Lingering. Semi-dry finish.
Quite powerful pale lager with a hoppy touch. And a decent ABV. Not for fun they call it a Imperial Lager.
