16 oz can exp date Oct 12, 2023 into a tall Lager glass.
L: Pours clear yellow gold with VG steady carbo bubbles, a thin eggshell white head that recedes to a thick skin, light spotty lacing.
S: Buttery croissant rolls, light cereal grains, background honey with warming.
T: Very gentle crystal-like sweet malts, grains, a hint of corn, light honey, lightly sweet aftertaste.
F: Moderately smooth medium-light bodied feel with a simple & standard medium-length finish that is very lightly dry.
O: Downright smooth and very easy drinking. A truly simple beer overall with gentle sweetness. Great year round. It is excellent in its style.

Fernson Ears Up Lager, 5% ABV. Pours clear and golden, with a slight head that left great lacing. Nose is sweet malt, taste follows, lightly sweet, equally bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent. I don't drink a lot of lager, but this is good.

A colab beer between the brewery and South Dakota State University.

poured into an imperial pint glass, the beer has a large white head and it is gold with a touch of chill haze.

The nose is of grains and some floral notes.

The taste is slightly sweet with cracker and grassy undertones. The beer is clean and is an easy drinker. Guessing there may be a bit of corn in it.

This is a good take on standard American lagers. The quality is fine and it doesn't have any off or jarring flavors. Great tailgate and food beer.

I hope Fernson keep this one in their everyday line-up.

Go SDSU Jack Rabbits and congratulations on your football team wining the National Championship!
