16 oz can
Pours very dark but clear brown. Head is enormous, fully 75% of the beer after a very gentle pour. Texture is pillowy. Eventually dissipates to suds.
Aroma is of coppery malts, toast, and almond.
Flavor is of toast, coffee, walnut, and cereal malts.
Medium body, mild carbonation on the tongue.
This beer is currently classed as an imperial stout, but I don't agree with that classification. It also has incorrect abv at least for the current iteration of the beer which is now 6.5% abv. This is a sweet stout or milk stout. Bordering on a dark brown ale. As that it's not bad. Pretty decent actually. Drinks easy. I like the flavor, don't quite love it but it has no bad characteristics, maybe just slightly imbalanced. I could drink this again without complaint.
