Served on tap in a sample glass.

Appearance: Dark brown almost black. Beige head with mild lacing on the glass.

Smell: Mild coffee and malts.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth full bodied. Taste of coffee some mild bitter hops and malts.

Overall: Ok stout, probably would have again.

1.5 finger head with good retention and lacing on a jet black body. Aroma of roasted malt and pretty much nothing else. Flavor is so incredibly simple with hint of milk chocolate and otherwise the rest is roasted malts. Medium body and light to moderate carbonation. One of the simplest beers I have ever had. Good but unimaginative.
