From a bomber. Attractive dark Amber. Lacy head with good retention. Toast and a little coffee on the nose. Taste follows but surprisingly hoppy and the hops linger. Medium body. I really enjoyed it. Great winter beer.

First, I want to note that I'm reviewing "Winter". It's a seasonal German Sticke Alt. It's identical in style, ABV and IBUs to this listing. I think it's the same beer, with a new name.
This is a light bodied beer, with a good bit of caramel, a little coffee, and a lot of bitterness.
I've had a few altbiers, but I can't say that I know the style. I'm not wild about this beer, but maybe it's true to style.
