I visited Dru Bru last weekend, and it's a neat brewery situated in a nice setting atop a mountain pass. My visit was in the summertime, so there was some very nice outdoor seating. There is also a small taproom area for seating; it’s got an industrial look but is clean and orderly. The brewhouse and fermenters are behind glass for all to see, which I always like. It’s order at the bar, and service is friendly enough, though I didn’t get to interact much with the bartender.

There were 11 beers available on my visit, plus root beer and cider. There is a focus on German style lagers, but there are some American ales as well. The session hazy at 5.1% is pretty good, with a nice fruity character and a fair bitterness. Schwartzbier is one of my favorite styles and theirs is well done! It's definitely a neat place worth checking out if you're just passing (pun intended) by, and I'm sure it's a haven for ski bums in the winter.

a very neat spot here right at the base of the ski area on the pass, perfect location for a spot like this, i always wondered why the resorts in colorado didnt have breweries in them. the space felt new but also kind of small and humble, not much seating really inside at all, maybe moved around and reduced because of the pandemic, but it felt quite modest to me. they have a huge outside space for nicer weather which seems like it would be really fun, but inside just a few tables, high ceilings, local art, somewhat minimal, but also very comfortable. super mellow and friendly dude behind the bar pouring beers was welcoming as can be, and i had both of the fresh hop brews when i was in. the cashmere was incredible, the hazy el dorado solid but less amazing, and i picked up a bottle of their berliner as well, which i was not too wild about, but it seems like the kind of place that does classic styles very well, and handles hops expertly as well. i wish i had more time in here and will definitely be back when i am through this way again. good vibes, excellent beers.

My favorite thing about this place is the selection of beers. Lots of styles you don't see on tap at other places (mostly german). If you want to have a flight of 5 different IPAs, this isnt the place for you.

Nice views of the mountains on a clear day.

Crowded with snow bunnies during ski season.

Food truck out front, and they let you bring outside food in from other places.

On a rainy March afternoon, Dru Bru draws a bunch of skiers and other wintery folk. It's a comfortable spot to have a beer or two, and wish the weather were better.

There's room for about 40, at the bar, a couple of communal tables, and a couple of side tables.

The beer leans toward German styles. They say they use German malts, Yakima hops, and Snoqualmie Pass water. There were 11 beers and one cider on tap when we were there. Prices are quite reasonable. The service was very good.

Stopped in here with my wife and kids on our way home from a night out camping. My three-year-old son slept on me the whole time I was there. Servers went out of there way to secure a table for us, which was really nice.

Service is at the bar only, and since I was anchored by a slumbering child, my wife was ordering and retrieving the beer. She tells me they were really good -- even when she wasn't first in line, someone would come around and ask what she was ordering.

No food offered, but they have menus for local places that deliver. They offer a decent selection of food, so you can have a meal here if you like.

Beer was definitely good. I'd certainly go back.

I've been back a few times since that previous note. I remember that visit. They have more outdoor seating now, more styles, more merch, and they have a food truck in their patio area. It's easy to forget how beautiful the surroundings are. Not the best brewery in the area (but that's some stiff competition, let me tell you), but they're good, and definitely worthwhile.
