A hazy ale showcasing citrus, tropical, and stone fruit notes. We add Yakima grown Citra, Mosaic, and Sabro hops along with wheat malt and rolled oats to create a “juicy” character to the beer. You’ll find it silky and hop forward.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into an IPA glass.

Look- Pale straw, sudsy white head, moderately hazy, very active carbonation, no visible particulate, above average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple.

Taste- Tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple.

Feel- Between thin and medium body, moderate bitterness, slightly above average carbonation, moderately prickly, mildly astringent.

Overall- A very flavorful Session IPA with a less robust bouquet.

very light, especially for a hazy, and i like this direction for the style, fully flavored, dry hoppy, clean enough, without a ton of starchy body or over hopped burn. not saying this is amazing, but its more drinkable than many like it, and it retains a lot more character than like the low calorie segment of these right now, so i appreciate this for its smoothness and crush factor and it still having a soul. real pale yellow from the tap, still backlit and bright, with an inch of white lace head, looks great in the glass. smells like maybe it was in the line a little while, but stone fruit and orange notes from the hops push through, some dry cereal grain too, simple but good. the flavor is the same, a light pineapple note, trace herbal bitterness, grassy and alive, just a touch of staleness, but it stays bright, active, and fast finishing. the body is medium, some pale wheat malt likely, some minerals in the mix, just a little something from the ferment in the flavor, and it warms up fairly well. i like these guys a lot, think they do their best work in the hoppy styles, and i was pleased to find this one on tap, but what ever happened to breweries actually naming their beer? like just call it hazy and it will sell seems lazy to me, and like skipping one of the fun parts, but this tastes good after a long work day!
