Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Best by 2/7/22.
Appearance: dark golden hue with a touch of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam. Very attractive.
Smell: quite malty with a rather biscuity, nutty character. It's not bad, though perhaps it's not entirely to my taste.
Taste: slightly sweet malt, with a rather bready and lightly biscuity character. Bitterness is moderate, but it's not hoppy, and there's a bit of a yeasty finish. Not bad, but again, not 100% to my taste.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: this is a pretty good example of the style, although I typically like my Vienna lagers a bit more crisp and less bready.
