12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy orange golden pour, with a foamy head that settles out to fine patches. Juicy aroma, citrus, oranges and grapefruit.. Taste is citrusy and juicy with a little citrus zest at the finish. Really nice and easy to drink.

one of the best hazy types ive had in months, apparently brewed with a wild hop they found somewhere in idaho. i didnt get the full story, but i think thats the short of it, neat to get to experience something a little different on the hop side in one of these instead of being bombarded with another citra mosaic beer. this has a washed out blonde color to it, not a ton of head from the tap but adequate carbonation in suspension, a little murky but to me still pretty light looking, no visible sediment or anything. the aroma and flavor here are really unique from these hops, which id love to know more about. i get good weed up front, preserved lemon and zested meyer lemon, starburst candy intensity, hints of mango and apricot, and some floral freshness too. as it warms there is a hint of green onion or garlic scape or something, but its mild and not incompatible with the distinctive fruitiness these hops bring. dehydrated mango, mandarin orange, new school sativa, orange popsicle, resinous but not heavy, and with backing pale cereal character from the malt but this stays dry and totally hop driven. clean enough on the ferment, more lively feeling than it looks, and with some lingering oily hop intensity even though the bitterness is pretty low overall. i like the candied punchy character of the hops in the center and i like that this is obviously a little different, almost a southern hemisphere hop vibe to me, fun and memorable.
