I visited Waikīkī Brewing on 5/27/24. They have a very nice taproom with tables for dining, a really big bar, and some outdoor tables with umbrellas that were perfect for the weather in Waikīkī. They offered 9 core beers, a couple seasonal beers, about 5 AAL’s and some ciders and seltzers. They offer a nice selection of beer types. They also have a pretty decent menu. I didn’t eat, so I can’t vouch for the food, but the beer I had was good.

Visited twice during a week in Hawaii. First visit was a quick beer early on a weekday alone with a short chat with the bartender. Second one was dinner and a couple beers with my wife on a Friday night.
Place has some indoor and outdoor seating, big bar, friendly servers that seem like they know the beer pretty well. Was kind of busy, but certainly not crazy.
We had a pretzel (pretty good) and a pork belly dish (just OK).

My wife and I visited Waikiki Brewing a few months ago before the pandemic started; I'm just getting around to typing up my notes now.
The taproom is very vacation-ey; open to the elements and attached to a burger place. They’ve got a couple TVs with the volume off playing sports. A neat wood bar and picnic tables complete a kind of beachy decor. The brewhouse is right behind the bar and they were brewing on my visit and I got to chat with the brewer, which is always a treat. Service is good up at the bar.
When we visited, they had 10 beers on tap including 9 regulars and 1 seasonal; they had 2 other interesting looking seasonal as well that were unfortunately sold out. Overall I’d put the beers on fair-to-good. I tried 5 of their offerings and the English brown ale was my favorite. Perhaps not a destination for the beer itself, but a good place to hang out.

Atmosphere was nice but nothing to rave about. Typical open air bar with overly loud music (my pet peeve) and a mixed crowd of vacationers.
Beer quality was descent as was the selection. They have a very nice wide variety of beers.
Service was really good. I was actually happy with everyone’s attentiveness, I didn’t have to ask to have my water refilled or ask for another beer they were on it.
Food choice was ok typical brewpub selection with an island twist. I definitely didn’t come for the food.
Overall worth a stop for the beer.

Very nice small establishment co-located with a burger joint. I inadvertently stepped across to the burger place without thinking, so be careful if it is the brewpub you want! Really nice vibe to it - knowledgeable staff, good brews and takeout six-packs available. I had a great time!

Right at the beginning of Waikiki, this looks like a pop-up brewery with stools feet from the sidewalk. Nice friendly group of people, and service was really good. I like the lighter side of their styles, and it was enjoyable. Food was stellar; the poke was a perfect pairing to me beer. Highly recommend it as if you are in Waikiki this is an easy walk.

Vibe - I mean, you're in Hawaii, on Waikiki strip. It's entirely outdoors. The only thing that keeps it from a 5 is that it's loaded up with tourists.
Quality - the place has somewhat of an island feel. Bit dated but with good character. I think that was the purpose and goal. But not a lot of seating space. You do have to sit at table and share with other patrons more than likely.
Service - pretty good. Sat at the table and the waiter came bye relatively frequently to check on us.
Selection - There was about 8-10 different beers that were available but not much more. Usually there was an option of only 1 beer per specific style.
Food - did not get any and did not rate.

Went to the new location on Queen St.
Great selection of beers.
Food was good
Service was good
Parking was bad, luckily I Uber'd here
Overall not a bad place to have a few with friends, plus they have 2 cornhole areas.

We went here a couple times on our trip to Honolulu. It's very small, but the beer is great, the food is top notch, and the service is excellent. Definitely recommend!

This place has a great Hawaii/Waikiki character - open-sided with lots of funky decor and kitschy items all over the place plus some tiki things and the like.
The house-brewed beer we had - notably the amber ale - was great.
Service was good, attentive and friendly.
The beer selection was reasonably good but they only had two of their own beers on tap and the rest were mostly standards and not that many.
Food was the weakest point, generally ranging from decent (burger) to mediocre (salad) to terrible (onion rings).

My family and I ate here for lunch on a great holiday to Hawaii. Located a block from the beach, the brewery feels like an open air surf shop, as much as a brewpub. Limited seating, with the mash tun, kettle, and fermenters right behind the bar, it is certainly authentic. The service was a bit slow, but appropriately Hawaiian. The menu was lite but well prepared. Beer selection was average, and the brown ale, the jalapeño,and the pale ale were well done. The Porter was a bit flawed, with a plastic, homebrew quality. Overall, very enjoyable and worth the short walk from the beach.

Located on the main street leading into the Waikiki section of Honolulu about a city block from the Hilton Resort. The outside deck features picnic tables and faux brewer barrels. The brewing equipment is directly behind the bar. With the exception of the busy street, the setting is pleasant.
Very mellow place (like all Hawaiian bars), where the service is incredibly slow but very nice.
The are nothing special, but given the options on Oahu, this looks like your best bet.
The food is pretty good, albeit served slowly.
