12 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Light, medium golden, kind of flat. Aroma is grainy, corn, sweet. Taste too is grainy, slick and sweet. Very macro...

a clean american lager here, highly drinkable, simple, and pretty well done overall from these guys, who didnt seem to be doing a whole lot of experimentation, but are knocking out some solid beers nevertheless. this is very pale in color, lighter than golden, and almost all the way clear with an average white head on top. a touch of sweetness through it, but its real mild, seems intentional, and gives an otherwise very minimal brew another layer. the lager yeast is hardly there at all on flavor, definitely not a pils or european type where that factors into the flavor pretty significantly, but it does its job in this one, crisping up the finish just enough and staying out of the way. the malt flavor really leads it, soft and mellow with a light honey note and a simple cereal character about it. faint grassy hops at the end, but no much there either. its just a drinker, and when fresh and cold from the tap, its about as good as any other i have encountered here locally so far. good carbonation and a lesser body, good for the newly arrived spring season. cool that they can it too, ill have to try it in that format!
