Picked up a growlette from the brewery.
Treated as a saison, this was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-burnt yellow to orange color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace, not much lace, seemed somewhat speckled.
The aroma had some sweet to tart raspberry flesh and seeds flowing over a light lemon scent freshness and a little bit of white pepper. Super light breadiness.
The flavor leaned into the sweetness of the raspberries initially and seemed to bring a nice ample tartness strolling in for a fairly blended aftertaste of the raspberry to the breadiness.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied, seemed to sit just a touch under which in turn had a wonderful sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fairly light with a good ABV that was felt. Raspberry sweet to tart sort of finish.
Overall, I see I added it as a "fruit/vegetable beer" and I'm going to leave it as one. Raspberry is quite strong in this one, still, I'd have preferably next Summer.
