Growlette from the brewery.
Poured into three different drinking vessels, a becher to start, a mason jar second and finished off with a glass mug. Like most of the time, always a bigger head in the mason jar. Everything else stayed the same.
Becher pint glass:
The appearance was a milky pale yellow to paper orange color with a small cap of a little white foamy head. Some runny messy lace.
The aroma was the same in all three glasses - big sweet and tart papaya to mango cleanliness (seems like it was freshly squeezed). Light ruby red grapefruit and grassy hops in the backbone. Even a slighted lemon pith further on back.
The flavor slightly leans towards the tart side then develops a keen sweetness blending all of the previously mentioned fruits together very nicely. Very nicely done tart and sweet mango/papaya meshing in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied. Fine sessionability about it. Nothing distracting with the tartness just being "there" - no harshness. Sturdy ABV. Clean mango/papaya sweet and tart finish, semi-crisp.
Overall, very nicely done fruit beer, I certainly hope they can this as I wouldn't mind coming back to this preferably in the Summer!
