On tap at the brewery.
Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a semi-burnt yet bright milky orange color. It gave way to just a little bit of white foamy head and didn't leave any lace.
The aroma captured the sweet side of some strawberries and a light dose of sweet wheat. Some grassy hops accompanied the underneath.
The flavor leaned into a good balance of strawberry sweetness and wheat. Grassy hops are light. Barely any aftertaste but seemed a bit of strawberry sweetness and a touch of tartness, light wheat.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a wonderful sessionability about it. Low key carbonation and fairly smooth all around. Finishes with a little bit of berry sweetness.
Overall, another really nice fruit beer done up by 1st Republic. Starting to think they might becoming the kings of fruit beers in Vermont.
