pours clear golden with thick white head with great retention and small bead with spots of lace
Smell has estery banana clove combo light floral quality
The feel has a light spice texture creamy wheat and gently carbonated with semi dry finish
The flavor profile is fruity and yeasty with light tropical and mild toast in malt with ubtle herbal hop with hint of pepper in the mostly dry finish yeast carries through with bread taste
Overall -a very enjoyable wheat with very tasty yeast presence that has banana esters dominating

Pours a light pale Amber with a bubbly white head.
Smells of bread, yeast, and a slight banana note.
Taste is bright clear and subtle with nice hits of sour yeast, malt bread, and banana. A solid Hefeweizen.

The Millworks "100 Acre Hefeweizen"
$2.35/12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle without production codes or freshness dating @ the brewery on 09/09/2018
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's only somewhat hazy, and certainly not cloudy, but I guess that's OK because it doesn't appear to be filtered, which would make it a kirstalweizen. The body is golden and the short head is a bright white. Poor head retention for a hefeweizen, and seemingly poor lacing as well. The aroma is phenolic with spice, clove, and banana and a moderate amount of malt. On to the flavor... it's similar as expected. It's not very bitter (the label lists 12 IBUs) but the spiciness from the yeast helps to balance it and bring it to a dry, spicy and phenolic finish. It's light-medium in body and gently crisp, which explains at least some of reasons behind why the head retention is quite limited. No lacing has appeared either. It's a lighter version in general, not what most Americans would expect, but I have had some examples in Bavaria that were similar. Good for a hot summer day.

12oz bottle into a snifter appears clear golden yellow with a white cap.
Aroma of clove, apple, pear and banana.
Taste brings the same with mostly clove and banana and hint of pink bubblegum.
Light in body with modest carbonation. It is crisp, refreshing and per style. Worth checking out.
