I poured this from the can chilled into a stout glass
the color is practically black opaque with thick medium brown head that is comprimsed of tight bead with lace that collects on the glass
the smell is fullof sweetened cocoa and a roasted coffee scent with mild vanilla type aromatics
the feel has a good amount of roasted coffee texture with caramel malt sweetness and light yeast creaminess with subtle burnt brownie in the mostly dry finish
Taste is great with the cocoa and coffee juxtaposition and gently bitter roasted grain flavor working toward a balanced taste of sweet and roasted complexity with a mild vanilla element in rhe middle yet bitterness remains low with dry toasted coffee taste in the back as it warms with malt sweetness enjoyable but not overdone
This is a great stout in my opinion as it has a subtle blend of the cocoa with coffee but keeps the base in mind and actually tastes like a stout and not just a coffe drink in beer form

Had this on 2020-03-25 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 12oz can

A - Opaque dark brown with a 3-finger light brown head and very good lace

S - Roasted coffee with cream. Semi-sweet chocolate

T - Well-toasted brown bread with Nutella while sipping a cafe latte. Nice roasted bitterness for a balancing finish.

M - Light body and light-medium carbonation.

O - Really well done brew. Tons of flavors at just 5.0%

12 oz can

Pours black, with thick tan head that starts as large foamy bubbles but dissolves to a thin layer. Decent head retention. Very nice mocha aroma, great balance between chocolate sweetness and roasty coffee. Similar taste - bold flavors but well balanced. Not too sweet, and the roast flavor is not too dry or acidic. Medium bodied, smooth, but could be a touch thicker.

Sipping one of these now. Pours a thick looking cola color with a khaki head that fades to a nice ring around the glass. Beer is unfiltered as there's lots of particulate floating in suspension. Smell is heavy on coffee and cocoa. Some dark fruit there too. Taste follows nose with coffee heavy and up front. Front and middle are sweet but finishes with a bitterness that really reflects the coffee, not so much any hop presence. Feel is medium bodied. Pretty heavy on carbonation when sipping which was a surprise. Overall, a pretty good beer if you like coffee stouts. Chocolate is there too, but coffee is the star.
