Rich and Decadent this stout is inspired by one of everyone's favorite desserts, chocolate covered cherries. Brewed with sweet cherries, cacao nibs, and vanilla, it is like dessert in a glass

Sampling a cellar temp 12 ox can. No date stamp, but Ive had this since December 2022. So about 5 months in the cellar.
Pouring the beer into my large snifter, I get a dark cola brown beer with a creamy tan head of about 1 cm. This foam becomes a thin edge layer soon after the pour.
Aroma is fairly mild and has only some faint bakers chocolate and a bit of hot cocoa. But again, this is VERY mild.
No hop character or ABV hints on the nose.
First sip reveals a medium to light body with soft pillowy texture. I find soft and gentle rolling carbonation, and this beer feels very nice and smooth.
Flavor has more going on than the nose. here I get more chocolate cake note and some cherry cordial flavor. Much bolder, also some brown sugar and the cordial lingers after each swallow. Never any hops to be found and the ABV is also well hidden.
I enjoy this beer, but the nose is disappointing , I probably wouldnt buy this one again.
