12oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating
Very nice looking to this one. A warm brown body with a persistent off white head. Streaks of lacing. Aroma is of light pine. On tasting, the bitter hop presence yells out American Barleywine, but the sweet malt toffee and caramel is more than a match for the hop. Finish is lightly bitter, with a comforting warmth in the back of the throat.
Overall, perfectly balanced for this English American palate. The best of both worlds.
