12oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.
Darkish amber body, small white head, scattered lacing. Mild malty, nutty aroma. On tasting, sweet, malty. Finish adds a light bitterness.
Overall, a bit of a confusing drink. Brewer calls it an "English Ale". Untapped has it listed as an English Brown, and it does have some of those elements. Body seems lighter than most English browns, and the abv is higher. Then that bitter finish. May be more of an ESB, though I'm not sure enough to alert the admins.
