On draught at the brewpub, arrived in a tulip.
L: Arrived a clear burnished gold, with a half finger of white head that lingered a while.
S: Spicy, more specifically white pepper, coriander, and cardamom. Faint herbal tinge.
T: Spicy indeed. The melange from the nose hits right up front, above a base of crackers and pollen. Said spices also linger after the finish.
F: Medium and lively.
O: Decent.

Enjoyed from the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This very nice saison
pours a pale straw color with a nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin layer, and features some nice light lacing. Nose of farm house yeasty goodness,
white pepper, lemon grass, and light sweet honey malts. Flavors lightly exceed the nose
with subtle candy and honey malts touched by light cracker, lemon pulp, a touch of
orange rind, and herbal citrus laden hop notes. Nice mouth feel; medium light body,
medium high carbonation, and a lightly dry herbal finish with touch of white pepper
notes.
Overall, a solid saison for the good people of Cincy!
Cheers

Slightly cloudy light amber beer. Very balanced, low hop. Somewhat low in carbonation but otherwise true to style and easy drinking

Saisons are not my favorite style, but this was very pleasing to me. Not much pepper or funk - lots of lemon and citrus.
