Enjoyed from the growler in a snifter via Jungle Jim's Eastgate. This nice saison pours a lightly brassy golden color with a nice head of dissipating white foam that settles to a thick ring, light pool, and light lacing. Nose of light floral notes, subtle pepper, nice tropical notes of banana and coriander, honey, and subtle yeast with fresh bread. Flavors exceed the nose with honey on the sides, biscuit and pepper notes (pink peppercorns from the description) on the front, subtle grassy hops on the middle and back, and a nice floral heather note on the finish with a touch of lime zest and coriander. Nice mouth feel, light and refreshing with a subtle dry finish. Excellent. The best heather ale I have had to date. Fantastic! Need to visit this brewery.
