Visited Taft's Brewporium in Columbus, OH and had a great experience, so when I saw a six pack of Tangerine Vibes, I didn't hesitate to grab a pack!

Poured into a pub glass. Nice pour, a very clear, orange look with a quickly dissipating head. A lovely aroma of citrus, which is no surprise, being called "tangerine vibes." After seeing and smelling this beer, I was excited to dive in to it, but was a little disappointed. Wasn't expecting it to be so sour, but maybe I was a bit naive in that thinking. The front end was very sweet, with notes of citrus and a nice acidity, but the back end left me with a pretty unpleasant taste, that I can't quite describe. The mouthfeel was very resemblant of sparkling water, being very light and watery. I wasn't a huge fan of that.
Overall, I wasn't a huge fan of this beer, as I'm not too big on sour things, but I could easily see this being an easy drinking summer ale for many! My wife really likes it, so I'm happy she'll be able to enjoy it!

Like a big 'ole smack on the lips, Taft's Ale House its hitting their summer stride with a tangerine packed blonde beer for a promises of refreshment, crispness and cleanliness; all backed with the dominance of the radiant citrus fruit.

Pouring on the orange side of both peach and gold, Tangerine vibes pulls a creamy ivory froth before teasing the senses with a rip-roaring bouquet of citronella, cereal and herb. Early sweetness is soft with honeysuckle and orange blossom sweetness and a creaminess that's suggestive of cereal and shortcake.

The tangerines then explode on the middle palate as the citrus juices flood the tastebuds with the juiciness of branch ripe oranges and a hint of lemon and lime for a strong orange cream soda impression. Playfully tart and leaving a zing on the tongue, the beer soon trails with a mildly hopped verbena-type bitterness.

Medium light on the palate, the summer ale softens on the finish and becomes much less tart. Creamy and corn-like in finish, its cereal sweetness is the only thing keeping this beer from the crispness, cleanliness and dryness that is missed. It desperately wants to be a sour ale.
