16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. A 2023 release, had 12/10/24.
Pours a mostly opaque cola color, with a quarter inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of rye whiskey, caramel, malt, light chocolate. Smells lightly herbal and spicy. Flavors of rye whiskey, malt, some caramel, light chocolate, a slight hop bitterness. Tastes a bit spicy and lightly herbal. Smooth, a very good lighter medium body, well carbonated.
Might be a little longer in the tooth than it should have been, but this is pretty delicious. Lots of rye, with a solid rye barrel presence and a great base lager. Very tasty and enjoyable.
