500 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 1/17/25.
Pours near black and opaque, with a brief ring of foam and scarce dots of cling. Aromas of bourbon, light roast malt, chocolate, oak, some vanilla, light char. Flavors of bourbon, light roast malt, vanilla, oak, some chocolate. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
Barrel forward with an excellent base, and the barrel blend is terrific, especially the wheated bourbon. Also has a good amount of oak. Quite tasty and really enjoyable.
