Served on tap in a taster. Pours a beautiful ruby/pink color (like dark pink grapefruit juice). The nose is strong beets (yep, this is a saison brewed with 150lbs of beets), with the saison hiding almost undetectably in the background. The palate follows suit, with the beets sadly hiding whatever farmhouse may be waiting underneath. The mouthfeel is unremarkable - appropriately medium/medium-light.
As often happens with funky adjuncts like this, any quality beer that may have existed was entirely hidden by the dominant note of the gimmick.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
