Thanks goes out to Grizzarky for this brew.
16 oz. Can
Canned On: 07/10/17
Poured into a Squatters true pint glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, mango), really nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a very tasty brew and another from BI. Thanks Grizz!

Anybody say 'light IPA?' Noisemaker fits that bill, imho. Has a New England style look and hoppy smell, as well as hoppy taste. Feels smoother and light, but hats not a bad thing. Great beer as expected from Bearded Iris.

Looking to make some noise among the crowded American pale ale genre, the brewers at Bearded Iris backload their rendition with a blend of Citra, Citra, and more Citra hops. This is one sexy east coast pale ale.
Noisemaker opens with a muddy yellow pour and a burst of juicy citrus and tropical aromas. Grass and pine round out the nose while its taste is delicate with honey, pastry and a notion of bready vegemite.
As the sweetness drifts, the hops take hold in a very IPA kind of way. Remnants of fresh kilned grain remain to support the hops, but those hop impressions bring a tangy flavor of slightly less than ripe character of orange, lemon, pineapple and passionfruit. The tartness of gooseberry blend into a strikingly bitter finish of freshly muddled herbs, botanicals, mild spruce and the piquant vegetation of fresh grass clippings.
Medium in body, the beer's malt restraint and the resinous nature of hops create a drying sensation that suggests a lighter, more refreshing and more drinkable pale ale that what might be actual. Aside from its hop derived astringency in finish, this pale ale competes with the best.

On tap at the source. Looks as expected: a murky golden yellow color reminiscent of a Screwdriver. Faint white head. Beautiful and pungent citrus aromas, with a little tropical fruit. The taste was grassy and vegetal to me, with big citrus flavors but also some tartness. A nice soft mouthfeel. I wonder how this one will evolve in the next few weeks.

Citrus Galore!
This has been my favorite Pale Ale from these guys to date.
Lots of orange on the nose.
Orange, mango, lemon, and a lot of grapefruit on the pallet.
It is a bit dryer than expected.
I think this will make for a great summer beer.
