I want to try this again on draft, as the first time I did not enjoy.
I subsequently had 3 or 4 from the can, and it blew me away.
There was a lot of hop burn the first time I had, but man, after trying in cans a little while later was delicious.
Unbelievably juicy, looks and smells like OJ. Citrus, mango, tangerine taste.
So easy to drink. Nice medium body.
Potentially their best yet.

This brew looks like a OJ smoothie in a glass. It smells just like one as well. With first sip you get a blend of juicy citrus hops and spicy hop proteins. There is a bit of a burn to the hops that comes off like a pepper feel but calms nicely as you let the beer set a little after opening. This is a bright, sharp and juicy IPA. Really unique set of flavor.

Doubling down on its hoppy aura, the lupuin loving madmen of Bearded Iris take a good look in the citra mirror and say that their imperial IPA needs more. A double dry hopping regimen of Galaxy hops give the strong hoppy beer a depth of citrus flavor and an added layer of tropical fruit for double the measure.
Galaxy Double Dry Hopped Attention Please! pours with the expected foggy gaze of tapioca and crowned with a sepia stained meringue. Aromas ooze from the glass with a leafy laden perfume of citrus, tropical fruit and a rife, herbaceous bouquet. Sweet maltiness glosses over the tongue with a taste of honey, caramel and cashew but with the creaminess of shortcake; at least to start.
As the hops exert their power over the middle palate, the malt influence weakens and patiently acquiesces to the vigilant fruit flavors and bitterness. Tangerine, lemon, lime and white grapefruit add a splash of juiciness before tightening into a smooth grassy, citrusy bitterness to close. Passionfruit, kiwi and a hint of gooseberry roll onto the tastebuds while the signature bite of lemon verbena, sassafras and other fragrant woods dry the palate late in taste.
Medium full, seeming more rounded because of the persistence of biscuit malts and an unwavering bready, sweet infrastructure; the ale's finish is malty dry and tantilizing with a linger of tropical and citrus peels and those muddled herbs that flirt with the cattiness of hemp and geranium. But is smooth bitterness is strong but evades abrasion and has the tastebuds begging for another quick return to the glass.
