Pours a murky pale, dull orange. Aroma is orange zest, tangerine, clementine, papaya, lemon zest, and grassy hops. Finish has just a touch of earthy hops. Flavor profile is tangerine, clementine, papaya, orange and lemon zest with subtle grass. It's driven by tropical fruits with the additional grass and earthy notes adding a bite of contrast, despite still staying firmly centered on hops. Mouth feel is medium with a mild crispness. It softens towards the finish. Overall, punchy tropical fruits throughout.

Figured this would be juicier and zestiest. Don’t know the exact can date, so maybe it’s faded. Plenty of tangerine and mango notes, bit of malt, bit of pine and dankness. Lighter body than expected, booze is subtle. Good, not great.

Had a 12oz pour of this yesterday with lunch at The Grill Next Door, for $9.00.

Served in a small tulip, it was a muted, hazy golden color. Had light carbo, and a thin, rim-clinging white head. Lacing was on the light side also. Aroma was super, with apricot, mango and tangerine in abundance. Body was medium, with a decent feel on the tongue.

Flavor was like the aroma, though not as robust. Had toasty malts, plus the aforementioned tangerine, apricot and mango. Was also a bit pithy and resiny. It was a decent, tasty brew, all-in-all, though nothing I'd go out of may way for. Prosit!

A: Pours a murky medium bright yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate apricot + peach + pale orange + pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 30% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + citrus/lime + pine hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + wheat + oat malts with moderate amount of sugary sweetness.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + wheat + oat malts with moderate amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + citrus/lime + pine hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving moderate lingering citrus/grapefruit + citrus/lime hop flavors.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp initially with moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a moderate amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with lots of Citra on display in this beer. Definitely one that I would grab again.

A - Pours out pale orange, with a bit of transparency through the haze, and a short white head. Fluffy, pillow-like, it fades quickly to a minimal cap through which orange shines through. The lacing is extensive, and a small bubble wall in drink lines.

S - Big hit of pine and resin, with just a bit of juiciness and tropical fruit.

T - The promise of the nose delivers in on the tongue, with lovely citrus and passion fruit tropical notes, a resin, almost minty note, and a subtly sweet bread malt. The finish is tart and brisk, a bit of tannic, tea like bitterness, quick to wrap it up and get the drinker coming back for another swig.

M - Brisk carbonation and moderate weight, this is an IPA that does not come across nearly as big as its ABV might suggest. The close is easy, snappy and firm, leaving very little residual sharpness or weight.

O - A superb DIPA that is delicious and easy-drinking. A mighty fine beer here, and one I'd buy again.

Nice hazy yellow
Scent of grapefruit peel and papaya
Taste, a really fruit forward beer. Like Pinot Noir made in Oregon, the goal is to put fruit before aging. Not so much in beer but similar.
Feel is almost exactly what you want. Some bitterness but not overwhelming, the harmony the brewmaster wanted.

Easily one of the new favorites. I look more for brewery than style. My favs are Wild Leap, Ommegang and now Bearded Iris

L:. Pours a hazy but not too hazy, golden straw yellow with a medium white head and no lacing around the glass.

S;. Sugary sweetness, with lemon rind and a lot of slightly muddled tropical fruit.

T:. Sweet with a lot of lemon and tropical fruit, but is a little bit muddled none of the fruit really stands out.

F:. Smooth creamy medium body.

O:. This one feels like muddled tropical fruit, with a bit of sweetness.

Tall can ...dated 3/17/21

Typical high quality look to the pour...its fully hazed with scattered fine bubble lacing, film, and a fine collar all going on.

Sniff of soft and ripe tropical fruits.

Pineapple, mango, light lime, melon and kiwi all coming to the jubilee.

Mighty fine...go get some

On tap here in PDX of all places, at Arch Bridge.

The beer pours a golden amber color with great head retention and considerable lacing. The beer certainly looks attractive enough. On the nose, this is pretty Impressive as well, as I pick considerable tropical fruit, light onion and light dank earth. This beer smells great. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closrly in this well crafted dipa. A bit more bitterness on the finish would enhance the drinking experience, but that's quibbling over a very minor concern. Mouthfeel is medium bodied to full, with a long, tropical fruit infused finish. This beer is very well balanced (for a dipa), with the sweet tropical fruit nicely countered by the hoppy bitterness. Abv. is quite well integrated into the flavor profile, to the point it would be easy to get into trouble drinking this beer. In other words, this beer is entirely too drinkable for its own good.

Impressive effort from this new to me brewery. Would order this beer again in a heart beat.

16oz can poured into a pint glass with initial nice head. Grapefruit notes shown through, slightly dry, citrus-hoppy but extremely drinkable, 8% well-hidden.

16 oz can, dated 1/21/21. Pours hazy dark yellow with a medium rocky white head that retains fairly well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet citrus fruit and some wheat malt.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruit with some wheat malt and a medium resiny bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice well balanced NE DIPA.

Nice fairly hazy looks with a thin offwhite head, lots of carbonation bubbles visible. Citra scent of heavy citrus on the nose, always love that distinctive aroma. Tasty fruity start with a malt based somewhat bitter piney finish. I like the amount of carbonation which is more than many of these doubles have and I’d call it medium in body. Decent.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 01.21.21

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, guava, apricot), pretty nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, guava, apricot), pretty nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Addictive! Orange Julius! MilkShake!
