look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.25
Pours a hazy light orange with fine, soft head.
Smell is dank and citrusy with notes of melon and overripe stonefruit.
Taste is juicy and citrusy, with notes of melon, peaches and hops. Moderate bitterness and hop burn, crisper than the nose led on.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice DIPA, with a slightly muddled smell.

L - 1-finger milky offwhite head atop a milky yellow body.
S - fried bologna, cheese, scrapple, some grapefruit.
T - cheddar cheese, honey, grapefruit, orange juice. Meaty nose doesn’t translate into the taste, alas. Moderate-low bitterness. No sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - dig it, but the version without Vic was better.

Tasted in a Rastel Teku from a one pint can on May 11, 2018. The spotlights come up and a hush falls over the crowd. On stage: a lone performer with a penchant for flair. But tonight, he's outdone himself. This demonstrative DIPA now boasts a DDH of Vic Secret & Mosaic that's encore worthy and not to be missed.

Canned 4/18/18; drank 5/9/18 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice off-white head; decent lace.
Orange citrus & mild grapefruit notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Orange citrus & faint cream flavors up front; grapefruit bite on the finish.
Juicy, to be sure; I'd prefer more orange & less grapefruit, palate-wise, but hard to complain much about this one.

Not throwing out the rating lightly.
No brainer 5 star.
Best beer they have done, and I have had every one of them. Holy smokes.
Grapefruit on the nose?
This beer is just so smooth and juicy. Dangerous.
I could easily drink 10 more at a sitting before I realized what I had done.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 11/20/17
Less than a month on this can.
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow/orangy color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, mango), really nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, still a very tasty brew. Addictive! Orange Julius! Thanks John!

Quite possibly BI's best beer to date, and that's saying something. Truly Trillium-worthy (can't speak to the Tree Houses of the world, etc) in terms of look, aromas, taste, and texture. Incredibly turbid Orange Julius body with a fluffy white head that lingered only a little but laced quite well down the glass.
Smell is at first dank and sweet, with orange and onion, berry jam, stone fruit, pine, and fresh cut grass. A little malty biscuit and a wee bit of hemp.
Taste is phenomenal, and is honestly the first case where I think their DDH approach has actually improved the base beer (and I'm a big fan of the original Attention Please). There's a little of the typical DDH "greenness" present, but that's almost immediately taken over by citrus juice, berry notes, tropical fruit, pine resin, brown sugar, green onion, and a massive dose of grapefruit rind. Absolutely fantastic fruit salad of flavors.
Feel is near perfect: silky, thick (for a IIPA), velvety, and luscious. Coats the teeth and tongue and provides a wonderful semi-sweet aftertaste.

Poured from a can into a snifter. Bright golden and turbid, with a two-finger fluffy white head that settled slowly, leaving just a few splotchy laces. A fruity aroma appeared right when the can was opened, showing pineapple, mango, tangerine, and raspberries. Also a hint of dank earthy notes. The taste was as I expected, bursting with tropical flavors but with a dank and bitter undercurrent that rose to prominence through the finish. The feel was definitely pillowy as billed; very soft, interrupted gently with a hint of carbonation bite. Another outstanding beer.
