I have always like Bearded Iris DIPAs! The lactose in this one made it sweet and fruitier, which many may prefer. I like the hops' personality and am not looking for sweet.

Thanks goes out to Buck89 for this brew.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy orangy color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, slight grapefruit, slight pineapple, mango), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, slight grapefruit, slight pineapple, tangerine, mango), really nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, nice little sweetness, also, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a very tasty brew. Again, quite different than other's from BI. Addictive! Orange Julius! Thanks John!

pours out a pale hazed gold color, minimal head. somewhat mild on aroma. pineapple, orange, grapefruit, some sharp herbaceous green character and a mellow creamyness from the lactose. overall enjoyable stuff!
