Notes:
Like a bowl of warm peach cobbler with a scoop of slow melting vanilla ice cream. Our latest MOOD is all about layering Mosaic, Citra, and Styrian Wolf + ripe peaches, cinnamon, fresh-churned vanilla bean and creamy lactose into a treat worthy of grandma's approval.

Had on draft.
L: hazy and murky in appearance. Bright yellow color. About a finger of head with some lacing.
S: Not picking up on much peach, but I do get some cinnamon as well as lactose sweetness. Hop presence is also on the nose. This will be interesting.
T: Same with the nose. The vanilla, cinnamon, and lactose is present, but I am not getting much peach. Still good tasting though. Somewhat harsh on the finish, but still enjoyable.
F: Really darn good. Full, smooth, and creamy.
O: Wish the peach was more dominant, but it was enjoyable. I am grateful to have tried. Cheers!

My first offering from Bearded Iris. The can was dated 8/29/2018. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a cloudy, bright tangerine color with almost a finger of foamy, milk-white head and substantial lacing. Its fragrant aroma features fresh peach, vanilla, lactose, cinnamon, and light floral hops. The taste really follows the nose. The combination of peach and cinnamon is a little unusual, and the sweetness of the vanilla and lactose is balanced by a peppery, slightly-astringent finish. The Mosaic and Citra hops add to the fruity, citrus taste. It has a thick, creamy mouth feel with a pleasant level of carbonation, and the 8.5% ABV gives it real substance. Overall, this ale has big flavor and is really enjoyable. I'm glad to finally drink a beer from Bearded Iris.
