Can at the source. Yes, olive spread and fudge, and more of the first than the second. I would try this on my cracker but not in my beer mug..anymore.

Tasted in a snifter from a one pint can on November 30, 2018. Unwrap a cascade of Oliver and Sinclair cocoa nibs enfolded by warm vanilla bean and creamy lactose in the fudgiest V. Fudge yet. This Imperial Oatmeal Stout balances melt-in-your-mouth smoothness with rich chocolate complexity.

Canned 8/15/2018 so about 5 weeks old when reviewed. It pours a mahogany brown color with almost a finger of fluffy, mocha-colored head and creamy lacing. I noticed some floaties. Its nose features freshly-brewed coffee, roasted malt, lots of milk chocolate, and vanilla. The name is really appropriate as the taste offers a blast of rich, dark milk chocolate, along with vanilla and coffee. There is just a touch of bitterness at the finish. It's absolutely decadent. It has a thick, creamy mouth feel with moderate carbonation, and you can feel its 9.5% ABV. Overall, if ever there was a dessert beer it is V. Fudge. It's very, very tasty.

Had on draft. Chocolate and creamy goodness. Incredibly smooth mouthfeel. It still remains true to its oatmeal stout roots.

Poured into a pint glass. Opaque dark brown color with an initially thick tan head. The foam left rather quickly. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, and faint roasted grain. The taste was the highlight. Rich Deep chocolate flavor. Smooth as silk over faint vanilla and roast. Brought bitterness for balance but then out of the way. Feel was slick but not overly sweet. Faint warming on the finish. Just a fantastic beer.
