(2018)

A: Pours a yellow-orange opaque juice with a foamy off-white head.

S: Tangerine, orange, lemon zest.

T: Follows the nose closely, also featuring grassiness, bitter fruit skins, and grapefruit.

M: Smooth with a sharp carbonation.

O: My new favorite Bearded Iris. This differs from the others I've tried, in that there's more of a sharpness or bitterness to it with less emphasis on the "juicy" flavors, while still keeping the NEIPA appearance and feel. To me, it reminds me of the first time I tried Sculpin IPA - from memory, this has a lot of the same flavors but with a New England twist.

Can dated 12/04/18. First beer of 2019 for me! This is good stuff, looks like your OJ fruit juice bomb. Smells like a good one and It tastes like tropical and citrus fruits with just enough pine to round out the fruitiness. Feel was medium and soft and I want more of this one from BI.

Sparkling fresh and full of flavor. Similar to Homestyle, but a little more to it.

Hazy pale with minimal lacing. Big grapefruit. Grassy. Muted and semi-sweet tropical fruit and citrus. More grapefruit juice. White grape and musty vine. Lots of pine resin bitterness. Rock solid.
