The rooibos...the hibiscus... the raspberries... this might be the best BI beer I've ever had... it has everything they do well and a unique twist that sets it apart from all of their other already delicious offerings... seems different with every sip...sometimes tart, sometimes fruity, sometimes tea-like... really really a different beer...world class to me...

Poured into a snifter. A hazy pinkish-orange color with a small white head despite an aggressive pour. The aroma was complex, with sweet vanilla, subtle citrus, floral notes, and tropical fruit. The vanilla was front and center. The taste was surprisingly different - citrus fruit, herbal tea, raspberries, and floral notes. It seemed like the finish was different with each sip; sometimes tea, sometimes, citrus, etc. Not overly sweet but with a full mouthfeel and a moderately bitter finish. Carbonation was slightly low for an IPA but not out of line. Overall a very unique and interesting beer.

Absolutely fascinating beer, and one of the more unique IPA offerings BI has released. If not for the lingering and powerful flower pedal aftertaste, this one might be a classic.

Pours an interesting ruby red grapefruit juice color with an off-white head of tiny, compact bubbles that laced just slightly. If you didn't know better you could easily mistake this for a fruited sour. Or just a glass of pink grapefruit juice.

Wonderful combination of floral, hoppy, sweet, and herbal aromatics. Green tea, grapefruit citrus, hibiscus, berry jam, tropical fruit salad, wet grass, vanilla, and pine. So unique and very enticing.

Flavors follow with huge waves of honeysuckle, grapefruit, orange, wine grape, clover, raspberry puree, black tea, and semi-bitter hibiscus. The combination is incredibly quenching, refreshing, and saliva-inducing, providing a touch of sweetness alongside a deep pucker. Unfortunately there’s a lingering takeaway (which lasts a long, long time) of starchy flower pedal, as the fruit and vanilla and tea drop off. If not for that aftertaste, I would put this up there as a truly remarkable sipping experience. Totally different than any other IPA or IIPA I've ever had.

Feel is quite light, well carbonated, and silky. Fits the floral personality of the beer, though not the IIPA label.
