Collaboration with CRAK Brewery
Take a stroll into the cavernous cellars of invention and discover our latest offering. Brewed together with our friends from CRAK Brewery, it presses lambrusco juice + denali + lactose into a smooth and creamy DIPA, with crushed pineapple sweetness & a touch of prickly acidity—it’s a little bit frilly nuance, a lot a bit straight up every grape drink/drank you’ve ever known.

Fruit smoothie IPA, for sure. On tap at BI, poured with minimal head and features a blended berry juice body that looks a little murky and has a notable lactose creaminess. Doesn't look like beer at all, and isn't a particularly attractive milkshake IPA, either.
Aromas and taste are rich with strawberry, red grape, blueberry, vanilla, sangria, grassiness, and BI's familiar yeast profile. Very sweet and tangy, much like a mixed berry creamsicle. Some green tea and biscuit elements lurking in the background, as well. Not a lot of traditional IPA elements, here, but it's tasty for what it is. And as Buck89 noted, the sweet red wine elements are pronounced.
Fairly thin, though the lactose and fruit does provide it with a nice silkiness. Medium carbonation. Absolutely zero noticeable booze or heat.

16 oz can poured into a pint glass. Interesting looking beer, with a very hazy golden-amber background with a pink-tinge to it, resulting in a darker than expected color. A normal pour produced a huge creamy whit head that lingered, reminiscent of a Belgian. The nose was medium-intensity, featuring red grapes, vanilla, and restrained tropical notes. The taste was as expected. A fairly sweet red wine aspect punctuated with vanilla and tangy citrus and tropical fruit flavors. The feel was slightly heavy from the lactose with medium carbonation - not sure why the head was so large. Overall an interesting beer but the wine notes were a bit much for me, especially with the sweetness.
