Notes:
Wind just a bit farther down that infamous fruit-lined street and another story awaits. At -1230- FLAMINGO ROAD, we find the notoriously roguish Mr. Passionfruit entangled with a certain Ms. Pink Guava and our old friend Lactose. Tempers flare. An overripe fight breaks out. Things quickly turn sour. But who’s to blame? This installment of our fruited sour series presents the enticingly tart, sun-soaked musky tropical intrigue of passionfruit + pink guava + lactose.

16oz can. Stamped on bottom can lip is 'SNOW SCARE 85216.34 01.21.21'.
Murky, straw colored body. Brief fizzy head.
Aroma is tart with passionfruit and guava. More in the pink grapefruit aroma, but with lactose.
Taste is tart. Well blended flavors of lemon, passionfruit and guava. Kind of backs up into dryness in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
A kettle sour with a good mix of fruit and not too much lactose.

Pours looking like mango juice with a little bit of foam that goes away very quickly.
Smell is tart and citrusy, with notes of passionfruit, guava and pineapple.
Taste is sweet and tart, with notes of passionfruit, youghurt, vanilla, lemon iced tea and guava. Very refreshing.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice sour, refreshing but not very complex.

Outstanding for what it is, but you need to like a strong sweetness that balances out (maybe even overrides) the tartness.
On draft at BI, poured with almost no head but the body is a wonderful golden yellow-orange color, velvety and creamy looking, with medium-high carbonation and a murky haze. Pure juice and absolutely gorgeous.
Smell and taste are both wonderful medleys of tart and overripe fruit. Tons of tropical notes -- pineapple, passion fruit, mango -- on the sweet side, matched with mild but puckering citrus and berry -- lemon, strawberry, apricot, under-ripe orange -- on the tart side. Grassy, yeasty, funky, tangy, juicy, and noticeably more sweet than the previous Flamingo Road release. There's also a saline note, and a strong skanky quality, especially on the nose, that I can't quite place. Somewhere between rotten fruit (peach, specifically) and a full-on sour funk. Sounds like a bad thing when I put it that way, but it's actually just really interesting. Anyway, not sure I could have multiple of these in a sitting, as the pucker is robust and then the back-end sweetness is pronounced. But I really like it.
Body is a silky smooth, soft, and creamy.
