Simcoe + Citra + expressive English yeast form this intensely aromatic and playful DIPA. Pithy pineapple on the nose, soft and sweet at first sip, with vibrant notes of ripe cantaloupe, peach, and rock candy quickly following.

Peach yellow body, hazy and opaque; thick, frothy and white head. Muted yet enjoyable citrus aroma; oats. Basic hazy India pale ale tastes; light citrus; rolled oats; bold bitterness. Divinely heavy body; lightly abrasives; citrus acid and alcohol warmth add some dryness.
I've had this beer sitting in my cool (temperature-wise) closet for a while now. It's a gifted beer and damn fine for what it is. It's likely exhibiting some age effects, yet at four months of age, it's doing well enough.

Pours a hazy golden copper with two fingers of creamy head that dissipates to a thin cap with ample lacing. Aroma of citrus with some pine on the tail. Taste follows nose. Very enjoyable.

Color is copper with a white head. Nose very citrusy. Taste is sort of sweet with a slight bitterness. Not too much on the backend, which is disappointing.

ONE PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours amber and hazy. Suspended yeast is visible. It is topped with an inch of creamy tan head that leaves nice lacing.
Aromas of citrus, pine, and melon come to mind.
Citrus forward. Followed by a little melon which is overwhelmed by fleeting pine leaving a fairly clean finish. I do get some melon and tropical fruit on the back end.
Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
Not bad. Price point is reasonable.

"I can name that hop with two sips!" If that's the game that Bearded Iris is playing, then sign me up. Appeasing hops heads with Citra and Simcoe hops, their Imperial hazy IPA, they're certainly not playing games.
But the Name Game kicks off with a hazy but reasonably so pour of golden and straw. Once its voluminous eggshell head builds, a perfumy fruit bouquet wafts about with a strong tropical presence with citrus and herb in tow. Supple and sweet on the tongue, early introductions of agave, cereal and honeysuckle bring a malty presence to start.
But as the hops take hold of the middle palate, the perfumy scent transforms into a full fruitiness that celebrates pineapple first and foremost along with more citrusy flavors of valencia orange and ruby reds. With nuanced tropical fruits of mango and stone fruits of apricot and nectarine, the fruit cocktail is complete. Trending crisp, drying and moderately bitter, the late taste returns to pineapple rinds, botanical hemp and a soft suggestion of vodka spice.
Medium bodied and finishing malty-dry, the plump pineapple character largely frames the beer's unique taste before closing with peppery grasses, light spruce and an overall sweet tea character.
