Imperial stout aged 20 months in Van Winkle Family Reserve 13-year rye barrels, then conditioned on toasted coconut, Salvadoran coffee beans roasted by Crema Coffee Roasters, vanilla beans and milk sugar.

Becher pint glass (???) at the source for $9++. Really good but not great. Lacking barrel character and depth. Sweet (but not overly so) but without the big chewy body to back it up. Perhaps the adjunct cover up some barrel goodness - seems like they should have let those fancy ass barrels shine. This one didn't quite balance either. Still really good. Get some snifters, fucking embarrassing for a beer of this pedigree.
