Deep slick black with a creamy beige head of 2 fingers.
Aroma of a Starbucks establishment. Pure almond, vanilla, hazelnut, cream, and dark roast coffee.
Flavor is like the most delicious coffee drink ever. It's filled with lactose sweetness but not overly sweet, and has elements of almond, macadamia, hazelnut, peanut butter wafer, dark coffee, brown sugar, butterscotch, caramel, slight molasses, and chocolate.
Feel is slick and smooth, a little lighter than I'd like but still very nice. A well-carbonated feel, some coffee roastedness, oiliness, and creaminess. Moderate to mild alcohol warmth.
Overall just an incredible stout. I figured Bearded Iris may have a one trick pony aspect with their IPAs, but they really do everything well. Fantastic stuff. I'm a fan of this brewery.
