A: Typical black-as-night color, foamy khaki head on top, plenty of lacing left on the sides. Looks scrumptious.
S: Vanilla is prominent in the aroma. Milk chocolate and maple show up.
T: Overall this is a sweet stout with great balance. The flavors are great: maple syrup, vanilla, milk chocolate, almond joy, marshmallow, figs. I am not lying when I list those flavors -- all of them show up and mix very well together! What a treat... It's really a desert beer, and a good one at that.
M/F: I love the mouth feel on this; It's very fluffy and velvety. It's thick but easy to drink. The finish brings on more marshmallow, vanilla, maple, and chocolate.
O: This is indeed a desert beer. The sweetness is just perfect for that style. The velvety consistency along with the maple/choco/vanilla flavors make this such a great treat.
