golden hazy look, canned 10/2020. Refreshing tropical taste. One of the many exceptional offerings from BI

16 oz can, dated 10/16/20, into Wide mouthed glass.
Deep juicy orange-yellow, with a creamy cap of 2 fingers, receding to 1/2 finger. Lasting head.
Aroma is of pepper, pineapple, grapefruit, lychee, muscat, and cannabis.
Flavor brings unripe grapefruit, juicy unripe orange, unripe pineapple, fennel, and basil. This beer still tastes very green despite being canned a month ago.
Feel is juicy and crisp. Mild alcohol heat, less than expected for the ABV. Resin is somewhere in the midst of the mild heat, also being mild itself.
Overall, this beer is full of bitter citrus, so if that's your bag, this is your beer. I really much prefer my BIBCO favorites like Escape Artist, Wavelength, and Homestyle (the former two going bad already within 6 weeks!!!), but this wouldn't be a bad place holder. It is a bit green yet at over a month old, so shelf life is one of its strong suits. It is a good BIBCO beer, but don't expect the world.
Price paid : $17.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : sure why not

Nice, smooth and balanced, with some hops you don't see every day! Not a "Wow!" maybe, but very drinkable and enjoyable, with some unusual flavors coming through. Doesn't keep well, though. Drink it fresh.
