A charming blend of stouts aged 14-25 months in Willett and Weller bourbon barrels alongside resonant beats of Baroida Estate coffee from Papua New Guinea, roasted by @cremacrema, marshmallow, 5lbs of Ugandan vanilla, and milk sugar. Expect notes of fig pudding topped with flamed marshmallow and sweet vanilla latte.
An anniversary release from Bearded Iris 2021.
Look- A deep black with a thin tan head.
Smell- Bourbon barrel and some more bourbon barrel! There is faint aroma of vanilla and chocolate.
Taste- Nothing like I was expecting from Bearded Iris. A semi-sweet vanilla and chocolate mix with tons of delicious bourbon mixed in. Fantastic
Mouthfeel- Little carbonation with a nice sticky feel.
Overall- The Weller and Willett really shine in this brew. So impressed with a brewery that is famous for their IPAs. Wish they would do this one annually.
