16 oz can, dated 2/1/21, into mini glass solo cup.
Deep juicy haze here, cloudy blonde in color, with a creamy cap of 2 fingers. Leaves lace on the tiny glass quite well.
Aroma of melon, strawberry, orange popsickle, orange fruit, mango, and sweet grapefruit. Slight sweet herb and grassiness.
Flavor brings a lot of wonderfully juicy semi-bitter grapefruit, mixed in with luscious juicy strawberry, mango, orange sherbet, raspberry sherbet, and some dry grass at the end.
Feel is prickly to start, brings a bit of hop oils into the mix, and a ton of alcohol heat. You feel all of it. It's not particularly juicy or creamy though, so the feel is more standard American IPA fare or perhaps somewhat Colorado-ish. It feels more western-ly.
Overall, a damn tasty IPA! If the feel was there I'd be sold on a case next time. It's almost the total package for me. But this is what makes it different - it's got the flavor of a killer NE IPA with the feel of a west-coast IPA. A bit polarizing for me. It should have a juicy creamy feel but it doesn't! Oh well, the taste is still there. At the end of the day this is a very tasty, enjoyable, luscious IPA. Tons of pithy citrus. Recommended. I'll buy more.
Price paid : $14.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : yep
