Our newest imperial IPA is nothing if not an OVER ACHIEVER. Exclusively hopped with nelson, it bursts into exceptionally pronounced notes of lychee candy, dried apricot, and white wine swirl. Don't slack on this one.

16 oz can dated 9/30/21, into Boiler snifter.
Hazy honey gold with a lasting head of 1 finger. Leaves lace as it's swirled.
Aroma of cornbread and spoiled hops, some diesel and honey, slight grapefruit.
Flavor is honey, grapefruit, melon, diesel, cough drops, and spoiled hops.
Feel is slick and resiny with less heat than you'd expect for a triple IPA. Resinous finish.
Overall, at 7 weeks this can is utterly completely shot. No meat left on this bone. I can finally sympathize now with Minnesotans who are having trouble with Bearded Iris because if they're getting cans that are 2 months old, they're no good anymore. Bearded Iris has gotten too big and should have stayed local. 2018/2019 Bearded Iris = epic, 2021 Bearded Iris = hmmmmm. They're having too much oxygen contact with their cans, not paying attention to their line. Breweries like Kros Strain unfortunately have the same problem.
This will not get finished.
Unless you're in Nashville getting it a few days old, avoid their IPAs until they get this straightened out.
