Once again, it is your hero, the almighty BD, or sometimes known as bArF, supplying you with the first ever review of a beer at this Next Glass owned database. Pain lies on the riverside I guess, but I go there to be happy or numb at worst.
This pours a mild hazy honey color into a Pyramid Brewery (rememberthem?) pint glass. Makes 3/4" white head that looks good and has decent retention. The aroma lacks a distinctive lager yeast, nor does it really edge hoppy in the Saaz/Czech world. Its just, there with a mild bitter twang but not a lot of distinction.
The taste continues in much the same way, not a train wreck by any means, but it also doesn't package together an end result that smacks of Czech pilsner. Instead, it comes off as an old pale ale with old non proprietary hops giving a penny metallic bitter twang throughout. This one just didn't hit for me, sure I'd give it another try, who knows what conditions this was in until it hit a bar in Sparks, NV that is now closed. Bummer too, I liked hitting that place before concerts.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
