PIcked up a growler from brewery. Had a few pours before tasting.
Poured into a custom pint glass: color is gold, nearly clearly transparent; head is offwhite and presents about 1 inch quickly after a the pour, but dissipates quickly - no lacing or head retention.
Smell is lightly sweet with some biscuit and rye sweetness then saison yeast phenols and light bitterness.
Taste is dryer than the aroma leads on, rye malt is very cleanly fermented out - making the look that is super clear impressive - very dry transition and flavor.
Mouthfeel - dry, a little thin and flat - yes its from my well traveled growler so I'll up it a 0.25 point.
Overall - the initial pour from the growler had some pop, but each our seemed to loose some effervescence from a low starting point for many other saisons.
