Brewed with High Note Cold Brew Coffee (Woodside, CA) and coconut sugar for a rich full body. Smooth with a robust coffee finish. Turns non-stout drinkers into stout lovers!

I am really into stouts right now and this is a good one, especially on tap at the brewery.
You can get it in a bomber as well at local liquor stores, and at Lunardis.

Had on-tap at Golden State Brewery taproom in Santa Clara, CA
Appearance - Served up in a pint glass. The brew is near black with auburn brown highlights where light can penetrate. Small spotting makes up the lace.
Smell - Prominent coffee roast on the nose, with lesser caramel, chocolate and faint cream.
Taste - Follows the nose. Solid amount of coffee roast, with just enough caramel and cream sweetness to offset and add a bit of balance. Earthy chocolate. Bittersweet finish, with light, lingering roast in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Near full-bodied with moderate carbonation. Slick texture with a lightly dry finish.
Overall - This is a great coffee stout. In a day where I find too many in this style relying on creamy sweetness that kills most, if not all the roast, this one comes through with nice balance while finishing with a mild roast edge. I should have grabbed a growler.
